Link Change Dates

Hello All, I would like to know if it is possible to know when a link was created or deleted via DXL please.

My search for information on this has so far been unsuccessful.

Any help most appreciated.

Hello,

You can get creation date and modification date of a link through corresponding attributes:

Link l
Object o
for o in current Module do for l in o->"*" do {
  print "Link from " (o."Absolute Number") " to "
  print (targetAbsNo l) " created on "
  print l."Created On" "\n"
}

For deletion however, you need to access history (providing it was enabled for links):

History h 
for h in current Module do {
HistoryType ht = h.type
if (ht  == deleteLink) {
   print "Link from " (h.sourceAbsNo) " to " 
   print  (h.targetAbsNo) " deleted on " 
   print (h.date) "\n"
  }
}

Of course, you can get information about creation and modification through history the same way.
